Little Miss Wildcat
We were invited to go with Pauline and Brent to see Julie be in a high
school Home Coming Celebration, so we drove to their house and rode to
Edmonson County High School for the ball games and to watch Julie. The
Edmonson County Girls' team beat Butler County.
The
Home Coming ceremonies were held between the girls' and boys' games.
They announced each entrant and their date as they stood at center
court. The freshmen were announced and each classes' nominees followed
until the senior representatives were introduced.
Then
it was the Little Miss and Little Misters turn to walk to center court
and be introduced. Julie performed as she had been directed to do.
Last
year's Queen was introduced and then she crowned the current Home Coming
Queen.
I
asked the Queen and the under class Princesses to join with Julie for a
picture at center court before they left the court.

Kyle's Birthday
We stayed at Pauline and Brent's house to help celebrate Kyle's birthday
and to watch Julie play basketball. We went to Julie's game first.
I
arranged the players for a team photo after the game was over.
After
stopping and eating lunch, we returned to their house and Kyle began his
third birthday celebration by opening presents.
It
was all about super hero characters this year. The Avengers and
especially Spider Man dominated the gifts.
Linda
slipped in one gift for Julie and let her open it so she didn't feel
left out.
There
are only a few people that know the identity of this Spider Man super
hero!
Brent
had iced the cake that Pauline had baked, then they put on the candles
and lit all three.
Kyle
didn't wait long, but I caught one candle still burning as he huffed and
puffed until they were all blown out.

Valentine's Day
I gave Linda a bag of candy and she gave me a card for Valentine's Day.
She took some of the candy to school to share with kids and teachers. A
little after noon Tommy brought Jason out to the house. Jason climbed
out of the car as Stacey and I drove from the pole barn to the house in
the Mule. Jason gave Stacey a card, a vase with flowers and a stuffed
animal. Tommy and I talked about his recent surgery on his knee while
Jason and Stacey took the gifts inside. They returned and we all talked
a few minutes before Jason and Tommy were ready to leave. Stacey gave
Jason a big hug, told him "thanks" and then they said good bye.
