TS Harvey
Tropical
Storm Harvey struck a glancing blow to our farm with just the eastern
edge of the rain hitting us.
Mild
flooding did not cause Big Renoux Creek to overflow into the fields.

After The Mowing
Linda and I began mowing after we had lunch. The grass wasn't real tall,
but there was still a lot of dead grass laying on top from the previous
cutting. As soon as I finished, I went inside and picked up the Nikon
camera and went back outside. I snapped a few shots before the light was
gone.

All Hay Has Been Cut
We went to lunch Saturday and when we returned to the farm Larry
Anderson had cut the hay on one farm and Phillip Garmon had cut the hay
on the other farm.
Sunday morning, we took Coco and Daisy to let them
run while we checked out how much was going to need trimmed on each
farm. Both men had done a nice job and there wasn't a lot for me to bush
hog.
After
the dogs had finished their runs, I took the New Holland 55 and bush
hogged several small places on the field across from the house, then
trimmed up some wet places on the farm down the road.
A
short rain shower each day since the hay was cut has kept the guys from
raking and rolling the hay.
